Casey Goodwin starts out as a nonbinary teenage intern at the Port Haven Herald, drawn into Alice's orbit and into Kat's investigations. By the back half of Season 3, it becomes clear Casey is not exactly who they say they are. Their real origin, and what it means for the Landrys and the Goodwins, is the show's most carefully guarded mystery.
