Cyrus Goodwin is one of Port Haven's three founding patriarchs and, by 1814, effectively the man who runs the town. A merchant, a mayor, and a privateer with a British Letter of Marque, his ambition and ruthlessness make him the great antagonist of the show's past timeline. His shadow stretches forward, through the Goodwin line, into the present.
